Items to Consider

• Try to improve management of bidding wars, when multiple bids are set against the same item.
• Try to improve presentation of controls to set up date and time to bid.
• Automatic dial-up feature for users without "always-on" Internet connection.
• Automatically refresh auction target pages before and after shots (see newsgroup).
• Move the option "Save items on shutdown" to settings, (and optionally Ask Me) - so that automatic, unattended machine restarts become possible.
• Add bid autosave feature to survive power cut offs.
• Fix the "Check for updates" feature. "Check for updates" will download whatever is located on the server, even if it is the same version. There is no need to download the same version.
• When users do not encrypt and store their passwords - ask for them upon sniper restart if there are active snipes.
• Online version: it would be nice to have an on-line version of sniper - one that wouldn't require the local version of sniper to be running in order to place bids. Obviously you'd need all sorts of disclaimers should your system fail to deliver the bid on time bla bla bla, but it would mean (if it worked) that you could place your bid well in advance and leave it unattended. It would be great for auctions ending at strange times when your computer may not be on.

• Change wording of the question when saving bids from "Save scheduled bids?" to "Save open items and scheduled bids?". Done!
• Fix auto-update feature. Currently we see a "resource not found" error. Done!
• Make tabs narrower. Done!
• Improve user experience:
  • Wizard must show "Please wait..." in all cases when a wait is required. Done!
  • After starting the countdown timer display the item we are sniping at. Add a Refresh button so that users are able to refresh the page. Done!
• Automatically set up sniping time 1 minute before auction end. Extract exact data from the item. Done!
• Improve presentation of Auction Sniper support web site by including the Feedback, Request Feature, and Report a Bug forms. Done!
• Solve the problem with IE7 on some items (disabled Next button - can't snipe on such auctions). Done!
• Don't ask if I need to save my auctions when closing Auction Sniper if I have not set anything up yet. Currently it asks every time no matter what. Done!
• Add a desktop shortcut into the installer. Done!
• Provide eBay support - Done!
• Provide Auction Sniper download link for public - Done! The trial version is available here.
• Wrap it up into an installer / uninstaller package for easy install and uninstall - Done!
