What is Anuko Auction Sniper?

Anuko Auction Sniper is a software program for your personal computer. It can help you win online auctions by placing your bids in the last moments before auction closing times. You define bid parameters and a schedule when to place your bid. Anuko Auction Sniper goes online at this precise moment and places the bid for you. Doing this allows you to win more auctions at lower prices.

How does Anuko Auction Sniper work?

Anuko Auction Sniper runs in Windows as an application. It has an integrated browser and Helper Wizard. You use it to find an item to snipe, define the price you are willing to pay, and then schedule your bid. When time comes, Anuko Auction Sniper logs in to the auction site and places the bid for you. Anuko Auction Sniper requires an always-on Internet connection such as ADSL or cable to work properly.

You can read this section for more details.

Does Auction Sniper guarantee that I win my auctions?

No. Anuko Auction Sniper places bids for you at times you define, but it is, of course, possible for other bidders to outbid you either manually or with a similar tool. Note that some auction sites may auto-extend closing times if bids are placed close to the end. In such situations if other bidders watch auctions they will be able to place another bid. However using Auction Sniper still gives you the following advantages:
  • You can define your maximum price without auction pressure, making mistakes less likely and if you lose the auction it's because the price went higher than your budget.
  • Placing bids at the very last moment draws less attention to your items, keeping bidding pressure off and prices down.

What are the benefits of using Auction Sniper?

Using Anuko Auction Sniper gives you the following benefits.
  • It releases you from buying pressure from other bidders by allowing you to make decisions well before auction end times, without actually placing a bid in advance.
  • It helps to keep item prices low by not showing your interest in bidding until the very last moment and not encouraging others to out-bid you.
  • It saves you time because you don't have to watch your auctions.
  • If you can't access auctions from your office you can still schedule your bids with Anuko Auction Sniper from your home and have it do the job for you while you are at work (as long as you have an always-on internet connection).

What operating systems does Anuko Auction Sniper support?

Anuko Auction Sniper has been tested on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. It may also work on some previous versions of Windows. Make sure that you have Internet Explorer 6.0 or later installed.

How can I make money with Anuko Auction Sniper?

Use Anuko Auction Sniper to bid on your auctions. It can save you a few hundred or thousand dollars, depending on how much you use it.

How much does Anuko Auction Sniper cost?

Anuko Auction Sniper allows you to make 3 free shots. After that, you need to pay very moderate usage fees.

I am a licensed user of an older Anuko Auction Sniper version. Do I need to pay for an updated product?

Updates to Anuko Auction Sniper software are free of charge. You can download the latest version of the program from this page.

How can I use Anuko Auction Sniper with auto-extending auctions when other bidders compete against me?

You can use the bidding war strategy and schedule several bids against the same auction target. Read the How to Win Auctions with Anuko Auction Sniper section for more information.

Where is Anuko Auction Sniper log file?

Anuko Auction Sniper does not store logs anywhere, but every auction tab keeps its individual log in memory. Such logs exist only while their tab exists. To save the log select the "Show Log" option in Anuko Auction Sniper "Options" menu, then click the right mouse button in the log area, choose "Copy All", and paste the clipboard contents into a document of your choice using either a CTRL-V command or Edit - Paste menu option available in most applications.

How can several users use Anuko Auction Sniper on the same computer?

If several users need to use Anuko Auction Sniper on the same computer they can use the "Switch User" function available in Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. Do not logoff other users if they have active snipes.

Anuko Auction Sniper saves its settings, such as active auctions and other information, in the current user section of the system registry (HKCU). If other users want to use the product they will need to logon to Windows on their own and launch Anuko Auction Sniper in their own personal environment.
